Dealing with alcoholism is a challenge that many people have been able to overcome. Whether one is an alcoholic or is dealing with someone else who is, spiritual answers are available that when put into active practice in our day-to-day lives, bring solutions and healing. Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy was instrumental in giving me a perspective on divinity and mankind that uplifted thought and brought inspired solutions. That book is genuinely a key to Biblical truths that heal, and just reading it with a humble heart can inspire you to new views of yourself and your loved ones. It really shifts thought from a material to a spiritual basis of reasoning, and that fresh foundation offers new views of our experience.

If someone is in a corn maze, sometimes it seems difficult to find a way out. But if somehow we can be lifted above the maze for a bit, we can, from that higher standpoint, see the way clearly. Prayer that is based on a view of God as all good and man as made in God's image and likeness can bring the healing answers you seek. Science and Health is available to be read online at www.spirituality.com. At that site, you can also type in the word "alcoholism" and find articles and archived chats that deal with the issue from the healing perspective of Christian Science prayer.

Feel free to ask specific questions if you'd like.

Joyfully,
Sarah
